The children at our West Heath setting had a special visitor from the animal lady this month! She showed us lots of animals that she brought into nursery and all the children had the opportunity to hold them. Some of the children even showed extra bravery by having a snake rest around their neck!The children have been showing a real interest in animals lately, we have been talking about our pets at home, been searching for wildlife in the garden and have visited the local farm. We decided to arrange a visit from the animal lady which meant we were able to learn about where different animals come from, what they like to eat and how they move!Even though it was a little scary at times, it was great fun and we can't wait to see what animals she brings next time!
