Parents at our Tamworth setting have shown real commitment to children's learning this term by getting involved in some home-link activities. Staff have encouraged parents to become actively involved at home with nurseries current themes and projects based on children's interests.Parents have been bringing in any creations from home for our displays around nursery so children can recognise their own work and admire when walking around nursery. Children talk about their work and share with their friends and teachers.Parents have also taken part in some fundraising and charity work involved at nursery, such as the Macmillan cake sale for Cancer Research and our Harvest Festival donations to the local food bank.It is great to see parents and nursery work together to build on children's interests and development and celebrate their achievements.
